| Bible Study - Designed to add to our faith and knowledge of our Lord, Jesus Christ, so that we can be fruitful in His Kingdom. Focus is on studying the word of God, learning how to obey the commands of God, developing the proper attitude and spirit that will produce a Christian character, and building strong Christian families. Church Library - The library has many great books and other resources to meet your spiritual needs. Hours of operation are Sundays, 12:30 - 1:00 p.m. Evangelism and Discipleship - Designed to teach men and women the skills and techniques they need to teach others the Gospel of Christ. Focus is on learning and applying the skills needed to teach others the Gospel of Christ. Correspondence Course - Study the bible in the privacy of your home. Our Bible Correspondence Course is designed to give people a better understanding of the Bible and it is offered free of charge to anyone who desires. This course consists of 8 lessons that will uplift you as it guides you through the Scriptures. We will grade each lesson and return it to you along with the next lesson in the series. Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate suitable for framing. We also provide personal home bible-study, free of charge to individuals/families in the Baltimore area and surrounding counties. Fellowship - Provides an opportunity for members to fellowship one with another. The fellowship groups plan outings and other activities that will help members become better acquainted with one another. Fellowship Groups are: Youth; Men’s; Ladies; Golden Age; Singles; General Church Fellowships. Click here for photos of church fellowships. Benevolence - Designed to help the poor, downhearted, bereaved, and visit the sick. The group provides assistance to Christians in the church and members in the community. Some ongoing activities include: annual Thanksgiving baskets; transportation assistance; counseling and referral; food and clothing program. Tape Ministry - The tape ministry provides a cassette tape of all sermons preached from the pulpit of the Church of Christ at Deer Park for the cost of $2.00. Visitors receive a complimentary copy free of charge following the worship service. |
